This painting depicts my daughter's favorite climbing tree in Broad Ripple Park, Indianapolis. It is her favorite because she can climb it while it is my favorite because it is so oddly shaped. It curves around like the interior of a shell hugging the ground.
Even if I knew that tomorrow the world would go to pieces, I would still plant my apple tree.
