Art Inspiration: Helping Hands

Hello My Fellow Art Lovers-

"Many hands make light work."  -John Heywood

 Molded Like Clay 24" x 36" $298

Every day I am thankful for my hands.  Last year my joints swelled up making it difficult to use them because of a bad medication and autoimmune problems.  On the worst day I couldn't open a door.

Hands are a powerful symbol because they represent our ability to make things happen.

Some of the first paintings we have on record were of hands. This cave art in Indonesia is 40,000 years old.

Hands now inspire me.  I notice people's hands.  The lines and twists tell the story of what a person has accomplished in their life.

Cecil Beaton filled his bathroom with his friend's hands...

I filled my journals with images of hands....

And I filled the studio with hands....

In the coming year my hands will build, paint, cook and garden.

What do you intend to do with your hands in 2022?  Answering this question can give you direction.  It can help you to manifest more of what you want to see in the world.

Every new year I create a vision board to help me plan my year.  I select images and words that represent where I want to put my energy.  Join me and make your own at ….

Classes make great gifts.  Just sayin'

  The Mustard Seed, 18" x 30"  $200

The new year is like a seed.  At the beginning it is small.  It is all potential.  What will you plant with the power of your hands?  Whatever you nurture will grow.
