My favorite version of this song is by Sheila Kay Adams. It is a sad story of quarreling star-crossed lovers. Not that my flowers are sad... they are like the last hoorah before the fall of fall.
I have been following along and admiring all your paintings. This is a daunting challenge. I love this painting. It is stunning.
