Awesome! You are so cute. I was totally thinking about getting our kids an Elf on the Shelf for next year, and would never have thought to alter the elf.
ReplyDeleteI am going to be getting 2 more elves (one for each of my children) and wanted to personalize them. Was it difficult to separate the hat from the dolls head?

ReplyDeleteI didn't take off the hat. I first sewed hair on the rim of the hat. Then I put the ribbon trim over the edge of the hair sewing it over the white rim of the hat. You can get strands of the hair at the craft store. Good luck! It was a fun project to do.
